ADMINISTRSATIVE OFFICERS’ OUTREACH ACTIVITY

In the spirit of sharing, the Administrative Officers/Designates of the different departments of the Provincial Government of La Union took time out from their daily hectic schedule to visit the ”Home for Girls” in Agoo, La Union on February 18, 2009. Spearheaded by the Supervising Administrative Officer of the Human Resource Management Office, Ms. Ma. Theresa F. Gonzalez, the gift-giving program was conceived in December, 2008 as the Administrative Officer’s Christmas Outreach Program to bring joy to the girls, with ages ranging 6-18. Each of the AOs has their own present to their adopted child/sister. Aside from their personal presents, a Gift Bag from Governor Manuel C. Ortega was also handed to each of them. The highlight of the outreach activity was the gift-giving which was filled with emotions as each girl opens her present with much delight. As a sign of gratitude, some of the girls sang for their visitor-donors.
