JONATHAN JUSTO A. ORROS
As an active youth leader, sports enthusiasts and staunch supporter advocating a healthy and friendly province, he is one of the Board of Directors of the Philippine National Red Cross – La Union Chapter from July 2001 up to the present.
As Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations, he was responsible for the enactment of an ordinance enacting the General Fund Annual Budget of the Provincial Government of La Union and the Annual Budget of the District Hospitals transformed into Economic Enterprise by virtue of SP Resolutions No. 038-2005, C.S. for CY 2008. He also sponsored the passage of thirty one (31) resolutions approving Supplemental Budgets of the different Municipalities in the Province of La Union in his capacity as Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations. He likewise co-sponsored the passage of three (3) ordinances.
On his civic and community outreach- program, he principally spearheaded the 1st JAY VETERINARY CARAVAN (JVC) which served fifteen municipalities, delivering the necessary veterinary cum livestock services like rabies vaccination, hemosep treatment and deworming of swine and large ruminants. The program which he personally funded was fully supported by the Sarimanok and Univet Agricultutral Products, Inc. and the technical staff from the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian.
